Exists in the game world books for some spells that will unlock new features or improve the previous one for a spell you can cast. There are several implemented in the game, like books that allow you to summon different type of creatures from the standard ones to books that improves the effect of your spell. As of now some can be found on sale in waterdeep but are only for lvl 1 spells, the higher tiers are found as rare drops from monsters or bosses.
We also plan to add more books in the future

The purpouse is to make low level spell being still useful at higher levels and give a bit of more utility for spells that usually people tend to never use ever again at high levels (like magic weapon)

Take in consideration that these bonuses can be improved or nerfed depending how much they achieved they get exploited or they didn't get enough interest.

Is also possible to suggest books in this post, make us known what spells you think could be improved and we will evaluate the option
