Background: The Farmer Turned Warrior
Garran Veyne was born and raised in Daggerford, the son of a long line of farmers who had tilled the land for generations. His family was well-respected, known for their hard work and dedication to the harvest. Like his father, and his father before him, Garran grew up working the fields, learning the rhythm of the seasons, the patience of the soil, and the satisfaction of a good day’s labor.

For most of his life, he was content. He enjoyed the honest work of farming, the quiet of the countryside, and the feeling of calloused hands gripping sturdy tools. He married young, raised a family, and expected to grow old watching his children take over the fields.

But war has a way of calling men to action.

When news spread that the Tanaruk army was pushing toward the region, Garran could not sit idly by. He had always been a strong man, one of the best in the village when it came to work and sport, but more than that—he had a duty to protect what was his. Not just his farm, but his home, his people, and the land that had sustained his family for generations.

Rather than waiting for war to come to his doorstep, he set out for Waterdeep, ready to lend his strength to the fight. He was no trained knight, no seasoned mercenary—but he knew how to wield a scythe, and he knew how to work harder than most.

Now, he arrives in the City of Splendors, a farmer-turned-warrior, ready to stand against the tide of battle.

Goals: Take revenge against the Tanaruk army

Enemies: Tanaruks

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Gets along with almost everyone. Loves good beer.
