Background: Riesa is adopted daughter of Felor Hearthfield, a half-elven pharmacist in Mother's Crest at isle of Gwynneth.

Felor tried to entertain the child the only way he knew. With teachings of nature and later on the craft of alchemy, but this did not quell the ever growing curiosity.
Soon enough Riesa started to wander away from the Crest to nearby villages. Finding fellowship within Ffolk children and spur them on mischievous adventures for the dismay of locals.

Felor figured that he was out if his depth when it came to parenting, so he sought aid from the druidic tribe of the earthmother.

Things seemed to ease down after that. Riesa was captivated by the stories of "mother's children" and learning customs, which helped to supress the urges to wander for a while. Nothing good can last too and even rebellious Hins are slaves to their desires. Riesa was one night caught sneaking and trying to reach the groves sacred moonwell. Tribe was displeased to say the least and Riesa was promptly branded and banished.

Feeling lost and not belonging, she started wander and wonder if there is a place she could belong to.
Riesa ended up on small harbor town to work as a helping hand on local tavern "the fishy flagon".
Hearing tales about "city of splendors" and how anyone with clever mind can prosper there.
She took her meager savings and bargained a passage in a merchant ship ''the Golden gull'' with the new Destination in mind.

During the voyage Riesa met the first of her kin, a halfling sailor Noro Rartbrand.
Noro was astonished to find out Riesa's lack of knowledge about their culture and was eager to fill her in with all he deemed important to know.
Riesa spent most of her time pestering Noro with questions and he did his best to satisfy the curiosity.
Teaching her about Yondala during the days, and when the ''Golden Gull'' ported to do trade. Noro gave Riesa small taks/quests to occupy her time in town
usually consisting information gathering and retrieving some items on his behalf. More often than not Riesa had to resort on unconventional means,
but instead of the usual backlash that she was used to, Noro seemed more pleased by her actions.

After months of travelling, Noro introduced Riesa to teachings of Yondalas more secretive aspect, Dallah Thaun.
Their talks became more secretive and the lessons on towns more demanding. Before reaching Waterdeep,
Noro urged Riesa to find out what causes the dissapereances of adventures around there. Escpesially the ones connected to Hins.
On top of that, she should try to blend in with the city folk and gain status in order to establish a safe network for the future Hin

" I know six solvents to clear the mind and plenty more to calm it down.
Still it appears that there is no curing the wanderlust of Halfling-kind"
