Welcome to Waterdeep Market, the biggest market in the upper north of Faerun!

This feature allows player not only to conduct business related roleplay here but also have some "free for all" merchant services for those that want to make some pretty coin from their craft or their drops

As you can see from the video, this kind of half trasparent npc (this was a beta video, they look normal now) are scattered along the whole areaof the market. Each of them allow to sell up to 20 items included stacked items and are free to be examined without risk of them being stolen.

These npcs are fixed for sellings only in gold pieces, is meant to sell things in bulk or precious magic items and not for any services that requires silver or copper pieces (roleplay services or otherwise). In the future we will put the possibility to open your errant shop in designated area like this and those that will like to open their own guild or shop will be placed in these areas

Right now there is only 1 area and 8 npcs vendor player, when they will be not enough anymore we will add more market areas (we plan to make up to 6 of these but if the server population becomes so big that they are not enough, we may re discuss the limit in the future or add markets in other sections of Waterdeep)

They work in a rather simple manner and they will explain when you interact with them, they will give you a small box where you have to put the item (or stock of items) that you wish to sell. Mind you, only 1 item can be put in the box otherwise the vendor won't recognize what you wish to sell. So 10 potions stacked into 1 are fine, 2 stocks of 10 potions are not

once you have done that, you talk with the npc again and it will ask to specify for how much you wish to sell it for, then is done! If your product will sell, your money will be sended directly to your bank account and you may manage the gold there as you see fit.
