BACKGROUND TEMPLATE

Following the idea that Gremlin started on this forum, i am going to make this the official template for a proper background

Consider that for being enabled to the roleplay experience (or rp by chat as some calls it) you need to have an approven background. The ticket system is fine to have access to it, but if you want to be sure for it to be permanent we strongly advice to write a background here

While people may find it restrictive, i want to remind everyone that is a Roleplay server and as such anything that aid that goal will be given priority. This template is one such tool that will allow us in the staff and any DM to help develop plots with your character in mind (or even make a whole plot about them, why not)

This is how the template goes

Name: i doubt this needs explanation

Alias: a nickname that your character is known to goes by (now or in his precedent life before the City)

Race: the chosen starting race

Initial Alignment: the chosen starting alignment

Height: the height of your character (consider that any "step" with the npc at the login area is to be considered 10 centimeters higher or lower)

Weight/Build: the general weight, again trying to make it match as possible with the character model weight

Age:

Eyes:

Hair:

Deity: Chosen deity, very important for divine classes (favored soul, cleric, paladin etc)

Base Class & Proposed Development: how you plan out your character to be. I take this chance to remind that while min/max build are not forbidden, they will find a hard time on the server. You have been warned

Notable/Distinguishing Features: Any particular details that may jump to the eye

Appearance: a general description (suggest to save it here so to use it in game when we will insert the description changer)

Personality Profile: a description of your character personality

Background: the story of your character before reaching the City. Remember that for the current year campaign, it must always end with your character taking a caravan to the City

Goals: what your character hopes to achieve

Enemies: what forces and/or personal nemesis the character has (if any) before their arrival

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: any ideas it may come into your mind that would like to see developed in a plot.
