Sas- The brownie Freedom Poem

Post by Charlie »

Name: Sas Elyndor
Race: brownie
Initial Alignment: neutral good
Height: 0.45 m
Age: 16 (adulthood for brownie is 8!)
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown
Deity: Oghma
Base Class & Proposed Development: Bard+???

Notable/Distinguishing Features: Little height? freckles

Appearance:She wears brightly colored cotton clothes, carrying a small dagger with her, even more so to match her height, she also has several bags making her look more like a mule than a brownie. she never goes out without her recipe book! Often if the season allows it to wear flower crowns.

Personality Profile: Sas turns out to be a very calm and peaceful brownie, to the point that in case of a clash of words, she prefers to run away. This is also given by the life she had in Thay and by its owners. She hasn't gotten used to the concept of freedom yet, so she makes herself useful at Grev's house by taking care of her when she's not out adventuring. She tries to give ten times what she receives, so if someone does her good, she will always try to repay him as best she can. However, her good heart, and the fact that she thinks that very few things are enough to have a dignified life (food, shelter, and warmth) tends to give what she has left to those who think they can use it for good deeds. The only exception are malignant creatures or what she finds around, for which she feels justified in taking the objects, and then donating them around or something else. Unlike the usual brownies, she tends to appreciate throwing himself into melee with his dagger if the situation requires it, and if there are allies nearby even if she prefers to stay at a distance and not take risks with the crossbow. She feels a certain fascination for elves, and disgusts gnolls, orcs and goblins, considering them (having lived in Thailanday) as malignant creatures and not very manageable or worthy except to combat. she feels a certain awe for magic (always for Thay) and considers the form of preparation of wizards to be the highest and most original form of magic (therefore all other types of spellcasters he does not consider to have "real magic" but rather useful, lethal tricks , but not true).

Background:The Brownie's Freedom

A brownie, of magic folk,
Did chores with a groan and a choke.
She swept and she scrubbed, she baked and she brewed,
And sang little songs as she should.

For a wizard she worked, of a family quite grand,
Keeping the dirt in the palm of her hand.
But one day he said, "Let us travel afar,
To Waterdeep, beneath a cold star."

And so off they went, the brownie in tow,
To a land of ice and eternal snow.
But danger lurked, a shadowy plight,
And the wizard was lost in the cold, dark night.

The brownie was free, her heart filled with glee,
No more chores to do, wild and free.
She danced and she sang, no longer in thrall,
And left the Thay, to answer her call.
